Chatsworth PTO Meeting
January 10, 2012
4:30 P.M.
I. Call to order- The meeting was called to
order at 4:30 p.m., by President Paula Boundy with
the following people present: Amy Dunn,
Missi Clark, Terri Perkins, Diane Kerber, Rachel
Zimmerman, Janet Millis, Amber Henrichs, and Donna
Folwell.
II. Secretary/Treasurers report: Amber
reported that we have a balance of $3,467.63.
This amount includes the deposit from the
basket raffle which was $198.25 and the water from
the bake sale $18.15.
III. Principals Report: Missi Clark
gave the report since Principal Karen Hazelrigg
was not able to attend letting us know that we
still need to pay $350.00 for the assembly.
IV. Boxtops: Rachel Zimmerman reported
that we are doing very well with box tops this
year we are already at $533.00 being higher then
other years. She will continue to send home
flyers with the children.
VI. Basket Raffle: Diane Kerber
proposed that we hold off on the big raffle since
we have other fund raisers coming up that way we
don't have so many. We all thought it was
best to wait till next year to talk about doing it
again.
VII. Bingo- Bingo is set for February
16th, at 6:30. We will be doing the 50/50
and will also be having a basket to raffle off
with a caps pass in it. We will need
volunteers to help out during bingo night, Paula
will be sending out a mass email for people to
sign up to help. Terri Perkins volunteered
to get the prizes again and Diane Kerber will get
the pop from Arts grocery store.
VIII. Monicals Community Day- Scheduled for
March 19, 2012, Paula Boundy will get packets with
the information to be sent home sometime in
February.
IX. Read-A-Thon: It will be scheduled
April 2-13, Amber will be sending home letters
with the students closer to the date.
X. Other Business: No other business
was discussed at this time.
XI. Adjournment: We adjourned at 5:00
