The mission of Prairie Central High School is to provide quality education in a safe environment through a shared relationship with a group of diverse communities, to be pro-active and student-oriented, to provide experiences through an innovative curriculum and caring people, thereby preparing students for life-long learning in a global society.


Activities and Cancellations

A Chenoa, Illinois, farmer and Prairie Central High School need your help to make a difference in the community. Dean Atkins is one of 10 finalists in the second annual Power to Do More contest, sponsored by Resicore® corn herbicide from Corteva Agriscience™,Agriculture Division of DowDupont™.

Resicore will award the top three vote-earners a community donation of $10,000 and a trip for two to each winners’ dream sports field.

In his entry, Atkins uploaded a photo showing the power on his farm. He also nominated the Prairie Central High School’s track and football field for the community donation; Atkins said he would like to visit Wrigley Field in Chicago.
