Dr. Heather Dameron Herr, 1987. and Lt. Commander Joseph Pica, 1987 were inducted as Charter Members into the Prairie Central High School Hall of Fame at a ceremony in front of the PCHS student body on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 in the High School gymnasium.
Dr. Herr attended the University of Illinois in Champaign. She studied pre-medicine and was a member of the Illini Marching Band. She gained admittance to the Southern Illinois School of Medicine, where she earned a Doctor of Medicine degree. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Herr returned to Fairbury as a family practice physician. Dr. Herr is the daughter of Lynn and Judy Dameron of Fairbury.
Lt. Commander Pica attended the University of Illinois, Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering. He became an officer in the NOAA Corps which operates and manages a fleet of ships and aircraft that support our nation’s research activities. His performance as an officer has earned him several promotions in rank and assignments. He was recently promoted to Lt. Commander of the ship, GORDON GUNTER. Lt. Commander Pica is the son of Sam and Ann Pica of Fairbury.
Kyle Miller, 1988 was inducted as Charter Members into the Prairie Central High School Hall of Fame at a ceremony in front of the PCHS student body in the Fall of 2004 in the High School gymnasium.

Kyle Miller graduated from Prairie Central high School in 1988. he attended Joliet Jr. College for two years and the transferred to Western Illinois University, where he majored in Agriculture Education.
Returning to his alma mater, Kyle Miller has become an outstanding agriculture teacher. Through his teaching efforts, Mr. Miller has motivated and assisted many students in achieving their goals. As an FFA advisor, Mr. Miller has prepared numerous state and national judging teams. Kyle is the son of Delmar & Joyce Miller of rural Chenoa.
Bryan Stoller, O.D., Class of 1990 was inducted as a Charter Member into the Prairie Central High School Hall of Fame at a ceremony in front of the PCHS student body in the Fall of 2005 in the High School gymnasium.
Dr. Stoller attended the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he earned a Bacholor of Science Degree in Biology. Brian gained admission to Ohio State University College of Optometry where he earned his Doctoral Degree. Dr. Stoller returned to Pontiac, Illinois and has quickly become one of the area’s best optometrists. He is the son of Dale and Sandy Stoller of Fairbury.
Dr. Miller attended the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he earned a Doctoral degree in Animal Science. Dr. Miller joined the company, Elanco Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly & Company in the fall of 2000. Dr. Miller has been recognized as an outstanding researcher and leader within the organization. Dr. Miller is the son of Keith and Sandy Miller of Chatsworth.

Paul Schmitt graduated from Prairie Central High School in 2005. He was named the first Hall of Fame Scholarship recipient. Paul was the President of his class for all four years and was the Student Senate President in 2005. Paul is attending the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he will pursue a degree in Political Science/Law. While at Illinois, Paul will be a member of the United States Air Force ROTC Officer Training Program. Paul is the son of Dan and Julie Schmitt of Fairbury.
David Shier graduated from Prairie Central High School in 2006. He was a Chapter and Section FCCLA Officer, Class Officer, and National Honor Society Treasurer. David was also a member of Student Senate and Scholastic Bowl, as well as part of the Marching, Pep, and Concert Bands. David is attending the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he will pursue a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He is the son of Marion and Jeannea Shier of Chenoa.
