Course Description

Principles of Marketing is an interesting and exciting class that will help students explore business careers and numerous marketing concepts.  Areas which will be explored are marketing activities, marketing functions, marketing concept, implementation of marketing concepts, development of marketing, societal issues in marketing, basic economic problems, roles of consumers, producers and government, demand and supply, international marketing, and market segmentation.  Students will apply basic marketing strategies while having fun participating in computer simulations that allow them to manage their own business.  Principles of Marketing is for students that are interested in marketing as a career.
