English Publications is an elective class in which students learn skills necessary in journalistic settings.  The class uses Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Power Point to create a number of different publications such as newsletters, brochures, cards, letterhead, advertisements, slide presentations, and business reports.  Editing and revision are also stressed, as in professional writing, there can be no mistakes.  Students who love to write about factual topics, and who like collaborative work for editing and revising will love this class!
