An Evening of Jazz

The 11th annual “Evening of Jazz” will be presented by the Prairie Central High School Jazz Bands and Jazz Choirs on Friday and Saturday, March 14 & 15, 2008. Through the collaboration of students, parents, and their directors, the Chenoa Elementary School gym will be transformed into the “Blue Note Café”, a jazz club/dinner theatre. Make plans to attend this fabulous showcase of jazz and swing band music. Bring your dancing shoes or just sit back and relax as you are taken to a bygone era of favorites such as “In the Mood”, “Woodchoppers Ball”, “My Funny Valentine”, and many more. Seating will begin at 6:15 with the meal served at 6:30, and listening, dancing, and socializing from 7:30-10:30 p.m. |

Tickets are on sale in the Prairie Central High School office or from Mrs. Kline. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Ticket sales will close on Friday, March 7 at 4:00 p.m. or when sold out.

Students participating in the show can eat for $8.00 for the entire meal or $3.00 for dessert only. You must sign up and pay by March 7 if you want to eat. You will still help serve and sit in the cafeteria area not at the guest tables. Pop and water will be available for $.50.
