The purpose of the Music Boosters is to assist the Music Department of the Prairie Central School District and to that end work closely with the Music directors by raising money for needed equipment and helping organize, chaperone, and work at events.

Music booster club meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of each month at PCHS in the band room. All band parents are encouraged to attend these meetings. Music Boosters are very active on behalf of the band and choirs and are always looking for more willing volunteers and workers. Please come to a meeting, or contact one of the above if you wish to become involved - we would LOVE to have you join us! Our biggest fundraising events are a meal fundraiser in mid-February; and the annual Pops Concert and Porkburger dinner held sometime around mid-May. If you are able and willing to help out at these events, please be sure to contact one of the board members listed above. We appreciate all the help we can get! Music boosters also organize the yearly fall mum sale and the yearly gourmet nut sale (in which the band members accumulate their own dollar balance toward the once-every-4-years trip to perform at Disney in Florida!) |
