| The Filing of an Objection Against Board Candidacy |
| As per Election Code, Article 10-8, a citizen may lodge an objection to a candidacy for the board of education on the grounds of improper filing or ineligibility. Such an objection must be filed at the Prairie Central CUSD #8 Unit Office, 605 North Seventh, Fairbury, 61739, within five (5) business days following the final petition filing day, which, in this case, is December 20, 2010. Since a portion of the five-day period falls during winter school break, office hours during these five days are as follows: |
