Family and Consumer Science Department

During the 7th grade FACS rotation the students spend some time in the kitchen to learn how to make nutritious snacks. Here the students are making rice krispie treats. The students learn how to use blenders, double boilers and how to use the broiler in the oven during their kitchen labs. Kitchen safety is also discussed.
