Social Studies Department

Students, in Mr. Lane's 8th grade social studies classes, are being shown how they can go online and download their social studies textbook. This year's new textbook, available on the web, is loaded with features that can help students to better understand our American history. Some of those features include an audio file, where the text is read, a student study central that provides the main ideas of each section with vocabulary and quiz options and a note taking segment, and spotlight videos are provided that give students a unique approach to the content being taught.
