Ron Umdenstock of the American Legion Department of Illinois and Chairman of Gifts to the Yanks Who Gave accepts a $500.00 check from the Student Council.  The Council felt this was a worthwhile project they want to be a part of.  Mr. Umdenstock stated that they were able to purchase 8000 gifts this past year with the funds donated.  Money from the junior high's donation came from the recent fundraising effort of selling pizzas and spring items.
