Boosters

The Music Boosters wish to welcome all band and choir parents to our organization! You are welcome to come to any or all of our meetings. To take an active role, you aren't required to be at every meeting - just come when you can and help when you can! We look forward to seeing you!

The Music Boosters wish to thank all the teachers, parents and other supporters who worked at or donated desserts for our Porkburger Dinner. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!!!!

The purpose of the Music Boosters is to assist the Music Department of the Prairie Central School District and to that end work closely with the Music directors by raising money for needed equipment and helping organize, chaperone, and work at events.

Patty Maier, Co-President mpmaier@maxwire.net
Teri Wenger, Co-President tlw@route24.net
Beth Russell, Vice President bethsbeautybar@mchsi.com
Deanna Pratt, Secretary prattfamily89@frontier.com

Music booster club meetings are normally held on the third Tuesday of each month at PCHS in the band room. All band and choir parents or other interested supporters of the Prairie Central Music program are encouraged to attend these meetings. Music Boosters are very active on behalf of the music department at all grade levels, and are always looking for more willing volunteers and workers. Please come to a meeting, or contact one of the above if you wish to become involved - we would LOVE to have you join us!

Our biggest fundraising events are a meal fundraiser in mid-February; and the annual Pops Concert and Porkburger dinner held sometime around mid-May. If you are able and willing to help out at these events, please be sure to contact one of the board members listed above. We appreciate all the help we can get!

Music boosters also organize the yearly fall mum sale and the yearly gourmet nut sale (in which the band members accumulate their own dollar balance toward the once-every-4-years trip to perform at Disney in Florida!)
