Westview Walks For The Cure

| Relay For Life 2008 was held at the Pontiac High School Sports Complex on August 8-9 from Noon to 9:00 AM. Fifty Livingston County teams entered the Relay this year. Teams set up and decorated their tents in an Olympic theme. Two thousand luminaries were prepared and placed around the track for the evening events. Highlights were: the Youth Walk, the Survivors and Caregivers Walk, the lighting of the luminaries which honored past and present cancer patients. The weather provided a beautiful weekend for the Relay. This year's donations amounted to $217,817 - more than ever before. Thanks to all of our donors, Westview's team collected $3,780 for cancer research. | ||
