Blood Drive

Our class is studying regions of the United States. We are making slide shows depicting state geography, products, and places to visit.

In science we are investigating properties of the different states of matter and the effects of energy on matter. We are experimenting with thermal energy and electricity.

We correspond with pen pals that live in New York City

The pictures below show our fall activities: 

We watched monarch caterpillars metamorphose
into their chrysalis state and then emerge 
as butterflies.

We brought in flowers raised in our gardens 
for the Westview Flower Show.

The fourth grade classes raise, lower, and 
fold the American flag each day for our school.

We enjoyed a field trip to the Abraham Lincoln 
Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield
