Second grade students had fun coloring life size pictures of themselves
When parents came to Open House, they had to guess which desk belonged to
their child by looking at the life size pictures of the students.
For some it was a challenge, but some parents guessed right away.
The students thought it was a fun activity trying to trick their parents.
Frog
and Toad
After reading a Frog and Toad story from their reading books, students in Mrs. Frantz’s second grade class performed three different Frog and Toad Reader’s Theaters. The plays were Frog and Toad Down Hill, Frog and Toad in the Garden, and Frog and Toad: Ice Cream. Each play had four students-two narrators, Frog, and Toad. Students learned to project their voices and to use good expression. After practicing several times students performed for parents.
