Registration Information

Registration 2023-24 is now open. You may log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal and register your students. Please contact the unit office at (815)692-2504 if you encounter any issues.

The Registration process is best done on a laptop, chromebook or desktop. It will work on a mobile device, but it is more cumbersome, and you are more likely to need assistance.

New Families to the District: Please call 815-692-2504 or any of the school buildings so we can start the registration process for you. (Please note that new PreK students must be screened and approved before they are able to be registered.)

Returning Families: Please register your students by logging in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, clicking on More, then Online Registration, then Existing Students.

If you have existing students AND a new student coming to PC, enroll your existing students, then either move the "new" student from "Other Household" tab if their name is listed there, or Add a New Student on the "Student" tab.

Contact choffman@prairiecentral.org if you have any issues.

Meal and Fee Waiver Applications

Please note that there is pending legislation affecting the School Food Services program for the 2023-24 school year. Until we learn final details and how it will be implemented, previous procedures will be in place.

The Meal Waiver application will open in August once all Direct Certification letters are mailed out to eligible families.

If your family will receive a Direct Certification letter from Susan Cavazos, Food Services Director, in July, nothing more needs to be done to qualify for meal discounts, and any applicable fee waivers will be applied to accounts in October.

If your family does not expect to receive (or does not receive) a Direct Certification letter, in order to apply for a fee waiver, families must first complete the NSLP lunch application within the Parent Portal (Click on More, then Meal Benefits) when it opens in August.

You will receive a letter in the mail with the results of that application, and if you qualify, a Fee Waiver Application will be included.

The Fee Waiver Application must be completed and returned to the Prairie Central Unit Office with all of the required documentation (Paystubs, tax returns, etc...) included or the application will not be processed, and fees will not be eligible for a waiver.
