Preschool screening appointments are open! Please call Penny at 815-945-2971 to book! Screenings will be held at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury on September 15 - 16th.

Mrs. Vogel's 8th grade ELA students attend a book tasting at the Book Bistro. Students sampled 5 different genres and noted any books that peaked their interest before going to the library to check out books.

Did you know human eyeballs and egg whites contain a high amount of proteins? When exposed to certain chemicals, they will react in the same way! Today, in Ms. McArdle's science class, 8th graders experienced what might happen to their beautiful eyes if they don't wear their safety goggles around even seemingly harmless substances!

The PCHS boys golf, girls golf, and JV football games have all been CANCELED for today, Monday, August 29.

Eighth grade archaeologists explored historical artifacts in Mrs. Kratochvil’s classroom today. They described appearances, investigated relations to American history, and shared with the class. We’re now ready to embark on the journey of our story…the his-“story” of U.S.!

PC girls golf kicked off their season today by winning the Blue Ridge Invitational! The Hawks finished with a team score of 375. Ella Compton finished 2nd overall with an 80, Taylor Kafer 6th overall with a 96, and Lucy Whitfill 7th overall with a 97!
