Congratulations to the PCJH Student of the Week, Ann-Elise Causer! Ann-Elise, a 7th grader, was nominated by Ms. Wilson, who wrote, "Ann-Elise is such a positive force at Prairie Central Junior High. She works hard in everything that she does, both in and out of the classroom. Ann-Elise brings joy to everyone at school with her wonderful sense of humor and genuine empathy for peers and staff. If she is in the room, there is guaranteed to be laughter and love. In addition to being a pleasure to work with, Ann-Elise consistently goes out of her way to be helpful to others. If she sees a peer who is visibly upset, her first instinct is to try to make them feel better. Being a part of Ann-Elise's journey is an honor, and I am looking forward to seeing how far she will go." Ann-Elise is involved in Peer Partners, Miracle League Baseball, and Central Illinois Courage Hockey. She also regularly attends Eastview Christian Church and participates in the junior high student ministry.
