Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Lilli Trachsel!
Lilli, a 7th grader, was nominated by Coach Ropp, who wrote, "Lilli does a good job of talking and encouraging her teammates during practices and games. She has developed a great awareness of where players are to be on the court and is quick to recognize when someone is not where they should be. Lilli has also been willing to learn and adapt to playing different positions throughout the season, starting out as a setter and transitioning to an outside hitter. I look forward to continuing to watch her grow and develop as a player. Lilli said that she enjoys learning how all the girls play. She feels that during this season she has improved the most in her confidence and has found this year more challenging." Lilli is also involved in FFA, Softball, Cheer and Track.

Congratulations to the PCJH Student of the Week, Elias Chrismas!
Elias, a 7th grader, was nominated by Mrs. Wenger, who wrote, "Elias is a strong ELA student in my Advanced ELA class. He engages in our daily activities, volunteers regularly to read aloud, and spices up our classroom discussion. Furthermore, Elias demonstrates a remarkable ability to draw meaningful connections between the text and his prior knowledge and experiences. His curiosity extends beyond the walls of our classroom. Elias also does those extra things that I challenge the students to do such as outside creative writing activities. When doing small group activities, Elias takes on a leadership role." Elias aspires to be a writer some day, and is involved in Student Council, Scholastic Bowl, Band, Speech Team, FFA, and Boy Scouts.
