PCE Families-Save the Date!

Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Violet Kerber!
Violet is a 12-year-old 7th grader from Forrest, and is the daughter of Chris & Laura Kerber. Violet was nominated by Coach Razo, who writes, "Violet has become a key member of the 7th grade girls basketball team. She has been a vocal leader during practices and games. She has worked hard since day one and continues to improve her basketball skills. Violet's continued improvement will be a factor in the success of this year's 7th grade basketball team."

Congratulations to the PCJH Student of the Week, Ella Farrell!
Ella is a 13-year-old 8th grader from Fairbury, and is the daughter of Mark and Courtney Farrell. Ella was nominated by Mr. Johnson, who writes, "Ella is an outstanding student who takes the initiative in her own education. She works hard to find solutions to problems on projects in our STEAM class. It doesn't matter if she is trying to find ways to improve on her projects like the balsa wood gliders or working at a station learning about genetics, she always gives it her best. She is a great student to have in class. Ella has plans to go to college after secondary school. She might like to attend the University of Illinois but not 100 percent sure yet about that." Ella is also involved in basketball.
