Who wouldn’t love a night off from cooking (and dishes)? Help support our PCJH Student Council on Thursday, April 24th and a delicious meal from @NelsonsCatering! This Chicken Dinner Drive-Thru fundraiser will help bring a motivational speaking duo to our building, pay for IAJHSC Convention lodging, help off-set the costs of leadership camp, pay a DJ for dances, and more! Raising money has never been tastier!

PCPW Building Tour Cancelled - Due to a power outage, the building tour at PCPW in Chenoa is cancelled for tonight March 19th, 2025.
The UE celebrated Pi Day with many activities. Students moved through stations with a discovery theme and also traveled to Harvest Call and Selig Sealing Products to learn more about their community impact. Congrats to Noah Hartman for reciting over 220 digits of pi! Way to go!

Congratulations to the PCJH Student of the Week, Elliott Grant.
Ellie, a 7th grader, was nominated by Ms. Pacheco, who wrote, "Ellie is always using class time wisely and also takes time to help out her classmates. She helps around the classroom making sure everything is cleaned up before she leaves class. She is polite to staff and peers. She respects classroom rules and procedures. Most of all Ellie is kind and considerate and you can see it in every action she takes." Ellie is also involved in Scholastic Bowl.
Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Joshua Webb.
Josh, an 8th grader, was nominated by Coach Grant, who wrote, "For the last two years, Josh has been an important part of the Scholastic Bowl team. As an eighth grader this year Josh has stepped into a leadership role. Josh has been asked to take on the primary captain role and has led the team during matches. He also shows his teammates the additional work needed to prepare for Scholastic Bowl meets and practices.
Finally, Josh is a great example of the strong link between his participation in extracurriculars to academic achievement. His work ethic and drive to do better are evident in both. He has taken on a leadership role in the Student Council and Scholastic Bowl as well as in the classroom. His contributions have helped make PCJH a better place." Josh is also involved in Student Council, Speech Team, and Fashion Club.

Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Addisyn Donley!
Addi, an 8th grader, was nominated by Coach Brown, who wrote, "This week’s Athlete of the Week spotlight goes to Addi, whose dedication and hard work on the volleyball court have not gone unnoticed. Over the course of the season, Addi has not only refined her physical skills but has also developed a deeper understanding of the mental side of the game—an essential factor in her growing success. She has embraced the strategic aspects of volleyball, recognizing that the sport is just as much about mental toughness and game awareness as it is about skill and athleticism. Her decision-making on the court has become sharper, and her leadership has helped guide our team. Addi would like to be a detective and eventually a prosecutor. She is looking forward to playing sports in high school. Her favorite memory of volleyball this year has been the dress up practices." Addi is also involved in C.A.R.E.S. Clowns, basketball, track, softball, FFA, and Peer Partners.
