
Second graders at PCE enjoyed visiting Fugate Woods as a part of an Illinois Biodiversity Field Trip. This field trip was sponsored by a grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, which was awarded to Carrie Small- Media Specialist.

Attention all PC wrestlers time is running out to register for the Deacetis Summer Wrestling Camp. This is meant for wrestlers who already have at least a basic knowledge of the sport. See the attached flyer for details.

PCE had a great turnout at our STEAM Night, Art Show, and EnVision Expo last night!





PCE celebrated our current ICE students Rayce Pekarovich and JC Spence this morning with cookie cake for their last day! Congratulations to all of the graduating seniors, especially those who have helped out at PCE this year!


This Sunday is Baccalaureate at 7:00pm in the High School Gym. Seniors please meet in the small gym at 6:45 in your gown with your light blue stoles. No caps. Hope to see you there.

Yesterday, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources visited the 7th grade math classes. The representative shared lots of info about the studies they do and the math involved. She also taught the students how to measure a tree for research, a skill they will use on their field trip next week.





Congratulations to the following PC Boys Track State Qualifiers: The 4x100 relay of Tagen Fehr, Wyatt Ault, Caiden Schulz, and Hudson Ault, the 4x200 relay team of Kolton Wright, Brian Zhao, Hudson Ault, and Caiden Schulz , and Tagen Fehr in the 300 hurdles!! We will send them off next week before they head to EIU to compete next Friday!

Today's PCHS baseball Regional game vs Central Catholic has been moved to IWU's turf field due to the rain. The game is still scheduled to start at 4:30 PM today, Monday, May 13.

The seniors took their class trip to Six Flags in Gurnee on Friday! Thank you to Mr. Dunahee for driving the bus and Mrs. Hasty, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Heins for chaperoning!
