Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Addisyn Donley!
Addisyn, an 8th grader, was nominated by Coach Meister, who wrote, "Addi is one of the true vocal leaders on the softball team and works hard in practices to make herself a better player. She is an outstanding catcher behind the plate, moving well and blocking balls in the dirt. She has a strong arm and is great at throwing runners out. She also plays third base anytime I need her to, and is currently leading the team in batting average, and is top four in every offensive category. She is a joy to coach!" Addisyn is also involved in basketball, volleyball, and track.

Congratulations to the PCJH Student of the Week, Nathan Buchenau!
Nate, an 8th grader, was nominated by Mr. Grant, who wrote, "Nathan is an exemplary student and a positive role model for his peers. Nathan leads by example. Nathan demonstrates responsibility, respect, hard-work ethic, and a positive attitude. Nathan interacts with his peers in a positive manner. He is willing to help his peers and provides positive support when they need help during group work. Lastly, Nathan demonstrates his academic strengths in the quality of work he has shown in his writing and in his Social Studies work.
I appreciate all of the great things that Nathan brings to the classroom and to our school. Besides his academic strengths Nathan is a member of Student Council, Track, FFA, and Baseball. As a result of his contributions, Nathan is a great reminder and a great reflection of the Junior High’s mission: Self Motivated, Open-Minded Individuals, Aspiring for Excellence, Showing Respect and Responsibility, Inspiring Life-Long Learning, Nurturing Creativity and Growth Mindsets as Productive Citizens."

Thanks to all of the PC alumni cheerleaders that showed up for tonight’s game! Once a cheerleader always a cheerleader!

Her servant’s heart brings joy to all encounters and lightens the mood in any situation. Always willing to lend a hand, Katelyn has worked her way from representative to Student Council president. She has spent countless hours organizing and prepping things to make this year successful for our school and our council. Katelyn’s positive attitude is contagious, and she is ready to boost the spirits of her classmates and the staff here at PCJH.
