Do you have a bachelor's degree and an interest in becoming an educator? Prairie Central has received grant money to offer an opportunity for you to become licensed to teach at no cost to you! If you love kids, are a positive influence on others, eager to learn, and coachable, this would be an excellent opportunity for you! We currently have a 1st grade opening in Chenoa as well as several special education openings throughout the district. We will also need an additional math teacher at the junior high in the coming years. If you are interested in these openings, or other areas of education, please contact Brian Quam, Curriculum Director, at 815-692-2504 or bquam@prairiecentral.org. We would LOVE to have you join us!
Attention Preschool parents... preschool teachers will be contacting parents in the beginning of August, so you know what class supply list to purchase off of. Please make sure to register your child so we can finalize class lists.
Also, screening appointments will be open on Tuesday, September 5th. Please call on this day to schedule a screening if you child has not been screened yet.

It was a very nice tribute for Dylan Bazzell at today's IBCA All-Star boys basketball game.
The IBCA All-Star basketball games will be played at Pontiac High School this Saturday, June 10. PC's Chloe Sisco will play in the 1A/2A girls game at 11 AM. Then PC's Dylan Bazzell, who was selected as a member of the team, will be honored at approximately 12:30, ahead of the 1A/2A boys game by announcing him and placing his uniform over a chair on the bench. 💙
