Congratulations to the PCJH Student of the Week, Nicholas Adams!
Nicholas is a 14-year-old 8th grader from Fairbury, and is the son of Brett and Brenna Adams. Nicholas was nominated by Mr. Rothert, who wrote, "Nick is a great student to have in class. He always comes with a positive attitude about what we're doing and works at doing his best on whatever is put in front of him. Nick gets along well with his peers and treats everyone with respect." Nicholas is also involved in football.

Congratulations to the PCJH Athlete of the Week, Violet Kerber!
Violet is a 13-year-old 7th grader from Forrest, and is the daughter of Laura & Chris Kerber. Violet was nominated by Coach Sattler, who wrote, "Violet has been a real standout runner this track season. She uses her go-getter attitude to get everyone pumped up, whether it's during a hard workout or before a race. She's always there to lift others up during practice and cheer on her teammates before and after their events, no matter what they are or the outcome. When it comes to putting in the work, she doesn't hold back - always giving it her all and motivating those around her to do the same.
At our meet in Eureka, Violet showed her true colors by jumping into a relay at the last minute. She didn't just do it, she did it with a smile and helped us secure a solid finish. Her dedication to being a top-notch athlete and student doesn't go unnoticed by the coaches and the team. We're excited to see her step up even more as a leader, both on and off the track." Violet is involved in student council, band, FFA, basketball, and track.
